Jaw Tracking
"the objective measure of function when occlusion is important"

Jaw Tracker 3D

What is Jaw Tracking?

Electronic Jaw Tracking is a method of recording vertical, AP and lateral jaw movements.

Jaw Tracking (JT3D) provides a dynamic display of the speed and smoothness of mandibular movement in function. Sagittal views illustrate limitation in opening (ROM), and incisal guidance.

Frontal views measure deviations, deflection, and lateral excursion.

JT also records the velocity of opening/closing cycles to help the doctor determine the true nature of muscle hyperactivity with regards to occlusal interferences vs. TMJ dysfunctions.

Why use Jaw Tracking?

Certain types of jaw movements are indicative of specific types of dysfunction. The JT-3D is an invaluable tool for determining vertical dimension of occlusion and avoidance patterns in reconstructive dentistry, evaluating mandibular movement and position prior to making oral appliances, as well as checking appliance effectiveness during treatment, for sleep or TMD dentistry. JT-3D allows you to objectively measure before and after treatment comparisons, as well as treatment outcomes, in all areas of dentistry.

When Joint Vibration Analysis (JVA) is indicated, the addition of the jaw tracking increases the accuracy of the system by pinpointing the jaw's position at the onset of each vibration.

Bite Registration with JT-3D supports Neuromuscular bites, phonetic bites, wax swallow bites, manual manipulations, and cranial adjustments with maximum accuracy and reproducibility.
