What is Aqualizer?

The Aqualizer technology is a major breakthrough in pain therapy. It is a floating action, muscle relaxing, temporary splint. Over 1 million patients have used Aqualizer for headache, neck or shoulder pain and stiffens, facial pain, problems moving the jaw or clicking in the TMJ, stuffiness of the ears and increased sensitivity to light. Like a waterbed, the Aqualizer has a miniature fluid system which “floats” the jaw. The floating action permits muscles on both sides of the head to quickly move into their most natural functional position. The occlusion’s normal control of the position of the jaw is neutralized.

Within minutes, muscles begin to rest and heal themselves. According to the principles of hydrodynamics, this enclosed fluid system is dynamic and interactive. As long as the Aqualizer has sufficient water in it to completely separate the teeth, the Aqualizer is self adjusting and perfectly balancing all occlusal forces.

Why use Aqualizer?

Use an Aqualizer for headache, neck or shoulder pain and stiffness, facial pain, TMJ problems, stuffiness of the ears and sensitivity to light.

The Aqualizer permits the underlying occlusal patterns to emerge without any interferences, making treatment easier and more predictable.

It can relieve episodic muscle and, often, within minutes of insertion. The Fluid cells float the jaw past the accession, into the most comfortable position, easing muscle accommodation. Floating allows the muscles controlling the jaw to relax fully. Use the Aqualizer to provide comfort to your patients with TMJ, TMD, MPD pain or the muscle pain of whiplash or trauma. Dispense an Aqualize to keep these patients comfortable while you plan treatment of construct a splint. The patient should wear an Aqualizer for 20 -30 minutes prior to their appointment. Their muscles will relax and will facilitate your treatment since you will be working with muscles that are already relaxing. Have the patient keep the Aqualizer inserted during treatments. Your treatments will be easier, more effective and more comfortable.

After completing treatment, have the patient take the Aqualizer home for use as needed.

The Aqualizer is a temporary disposable oral splint. It is dramatically effective at relieving neuromuscular pain only as long as there is sufficient fluid to completely float the jaw. During wear, the Aqualizer will gradually lose its fluid (sterile water) through the microscopic pores of the plastic. In chronic cases, symptoms may occur when there is occlusal contact through the fluid layer.
