What is AccuLiner?
The AccuLiner is more than just an articulator. It is an instrument which allows you to register, analyze and treat the occlusion. It is designed around the widely accepted concept that the maxilla is the primary arch of the stomatognathic system, not the mandible. It relates the plane of occlusion to stable landmarks in the cranium using the anatomical reference points of the base of the skull and the Hamular notches and the Incisive papilla. By using these reference points, the AccuLiner can measure, in millimeters, all movements of the mandible as well as distortions in the maxillary arch. |
